01About

I'm a project manager, researcher and engineer and data, systems and transitions analyst who turns ambiguous problems into structured, evidence-based outcomes.

After my first career in corporate medical devices, I realized I wanted to do something that truly has a positive impact on our planet.

My goal is to follow my principles and transition to sustainability, climate action, and environmental protection. I want to help organizations integrate the Earth as a stakeholder in their operations and make the transition from 'business-as-usual' to a sustainable future.

Sustainability Management and Internal Advocacy

  • As Project Manager at a medical imaging company, I initiated the passion project of driving sustainable change in the organization. We helped the company identify areas that could be further improved to strive for the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Following the "Workplace Activism" training had a tremendous impact on my approach to this employee-driven movement. As an addition to the B Corp certification already in place, we initiated a company-wide sustainability policy and impact monitoring. We ran short campaigns on the greener operational practices and digital footprint, initiated an office resources-use review, and turned the after-work drinks into fun discussions about the best environmentally friendly practices. Following the principle of “do smarter, not more”, I also set up a process to identify effective charities for offsetting unavoidable business travel.  These efforts were modest, but they built shared ownership and turned good intentions into repeatable actions, teaching me the power of employee-driven organizational change.
  • Head of Project & Delivery Operations | Strategy · Programme Management · Health-Tech | managed Zuzanna directly
  • I've had the pleasure of working with Zuzanna and appreciate her valuable contributions to our team. Zuzanna consistently demonstrates creative thinking, approaching problems from unique angles and offering fresh perspectives. Her analytical skills are noteworthy, particularly in data analysis and dashboard preparation. One of Zuzanna's greatest assets is her determination and commitment to delivering results, consistently striving to meet deadlines and drive projects forward.

Circular Economy and Plastic Waste Recycling

  • Working at a 3D printing startup, I noticed that failed prototypes and quality rejects generated a significant volume of plastic waste. Concerned by this, I took the initiative to design and implement a new recycling process. I formed a partnership with two companies: one ground plastic waste into pellets; the second one could melt and re-extrude them into 3D printing filament for reuse. This alliance allowed the formation of a closed-loop supply chain that could use the same plastic up to 7 times, and over 2 years, saved almost 1 ton of material from ending up in a landfill. This process not only diverted waste from disposal but also reduced the cost of new material procurement. The project showed me how small, well-designed interventions can create measurable environmental and financial value.

How to foster collaborative active lifestyle among seniors and youngsters?

  • Extracurricular classes on Design Thinking engage our students as well as are opened to the students of all specialities. Design Thinking Method has been used in problem-based projects conducted at the International Faculty of Engineering for several years. 'How to foster...' was an interdisciplinary project of students of Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Business&Technology, aiming at improvement of collaboration between elderly people and children in Lodz, and reducing the generation gap. • Enthusiastic and passionate - these words fit Zuzanna the best. Being one of her colleagues for the whole 3.5 years during our engineering studies I had an opportunity to see her growth as an engineer. She never felt limited to one field of science and being the open-minded person she is - she always strived to learn new things and did her best in things she deemed interesting. This combined with her cheerful and positive personality allowed her to make great contributions in whatever projects she took part in. Therefore, I believe that regardless of a position she applies for one can definitely expect great commitment and tenacity from her.

Movies For The Planet

Zuzanna Lisowska BV · Amsterdam, NL

Our events are all about bringing film lovers together to enjoy great movies and share the experience as a community. We also want them to spread awareness about environmental and societal issues, and motivate people to take action, even a small step, towards a better world. Art, like music or movies, speaks not only to our brains, but also addresses our hearts and directly evokes emotions. And love, fear, hope, or anger frequently shape how people engage with action towards a sustainable future. With this cosy community event, we are on a mission to inspire and empower environmentally-conscious individuals like you. We organize the movie night every 3rd Friday of the month at 8 PM in LYCKA Buurtkamer in Amsterdam (near Sloterdijk station). After the screening, we often continue the evening with lively discussions after the film.
